SUHC take on the Sheffield 10ten10 10km charity run

In a week’s time, 40 athletes from the hockey club will be running 10 kilometres to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The Sheffield ‘10ten10’ takes place every year and follows a route into the foot of the Peak district, finishing in Endcliffe Park. It promises to be a fun day for both runners and spectators alike!

Sheffield Hockey Club have supported the Teenage Cancer Trust for a number of years now and it is a charity that is close to many of our hearts. The organisation provides cancer support to young people in the UK, and helps them face all their challenges together. We will be sending the money that we raise to the support unit in Weston Park Hospital, Sheffield.

Look out for the team fundraising pages on Facebook – we are so excited to be getting our running shoes on for such a great cause! The race starts at 10am, on the 9th October in Weston Park and we hope to see everyone there cheering the Hockey Club along!
