Hi, I’m Mima aka Chow and I am the 7s captain for the 23/24 season. Last season we had some really exciting friendlies against other unis, including an intra-club mini varisty with our social team.  Being a new team we joined a little later into the season and results sadly didn’t reflect our efforts, however this didn’t stop us from boogying it out on a Wednesday night!  This year I hope to push for more games to get some game play skills in, as well as weekly group fitness to improve our confidence on the pitch. The university teams work closely with Bankers Hockey Club which has massively helped players improve, putting us in a good position for next season! 

 

We will be doing a mix of sober and not so sober team socials such as bowling, movie nights& laser tag to encourage team bonding early on in the season, as well as mixed team pres to get to know other members of the club.  I would like to maintain the friendly environment on the 7s where no one is afraid to try anything ;)
